Dental practitioners

Greg is the third generation of the Morton family to practice at Queen Street Dental.

He graduated from the University of Queensland in 1995, and completed post graduate
study in Sedation at Sydney University in 2001. He served as a Dental Officer with the
Royal Australian Navy for five years, prior to joining the practice.

At home Greg is kept busy helping his wife raise three young children and keeps fit through
regular road cycling. In his few weeks away from the practice he looks forward to hitting back
country slopes for some snow skiing, and photography, which he is more than happy to share
with you at your next appointment.

Nick Cusack BDSc, Grad Dip Dent Stud (Oral Surgery)

Nick graduated from the University of Queensland in 1996 and completed post graduate study
in Oral Surgery at the University of Western Australia in 2001. He served as a Dental Officer
in the Royal Australia Navy for 10 years prior to transferring to the Reserves and joining
Queen Street Dental in 2005.

Away from the practice he serves as the Professional Liaison Officer (Dental) for the
Royal Australian Navy providing teaching and clinical services. Nick was married in 2001 and
has a family of twin daughters and a younger son. In his periodic breaks from the practice Nick
and his family enjoy nothing better than holidaying in the Noosa/Tewantin area.

John Yared BDSc

John Yared is the practice’s elder statesman, having graduated from University of Queensland

in 1975. He worked on the Gold Coast, Gladstone, Sydney and in the UK before joining
Queen Street Dental in 1983 as it was, and remains, one of the few practices that provides
an opportunity to apply his sedation and anaesthesia skills.

He has a keen interest in  dental projects in developing countries, including his current sponsorship
and mentorship of a young dental graduate in the Heal Africa Hospital, the Congo. John has
been married to Robyn for 35 years and they have two adult sons. He keeps fit through tennis
and touch football and enjoys scuba diving when the chance arises.

Natalie joined Queen Street Dental in 2006, 10 years after graduating from the

University of Queensland. Following her graduation she practised dentistry in Caloundra before
moving to the UK to expand her professional horizons in London and South Hampton. During her
eight years overseas Natalie and her Vet husband Tim, managed time off to travel extensively
through Europe.

Away from the practice and the job of raising three young children, Natalie loves getting out
into the open spaces, bushwalking, relaxing at the beach, and periodically hitting the snow
fields, skiing.

Louise is Queen Street Dental’s resident hygienist, playing a pivotal part in the preventative

and therapeutic dental hygiene care programs set for our many patients. She gained a
Diploma of Oral Health (Dental Therapist) from the Westmead Centre for Oral Health in
2001 and a Diploma of Oral Health (Dental Hygiene) from Melbourne University in 2003,
and joined Queen Street Dental in 2007.  Since 2008 Louise has also been a clinic
demonstrator/supervisor at the University of Queensland Dental School.

Away from the demands of raising a young family with husband Simon, Louise is a keen
Lions supporter, and also enjoys swimming and eating out.
