CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

Updated - 29 March 2022

Queen Street Dental continues to closely follow recommendations from the Queensland Government and the Department of Health regarding COVID-19. The health and safety of our patients and QSD team continues to be our priority going forward and as such we have enforced extra precautions within the practice.

What we need from our patients to help us remain COVID-safe:

  • Do not attend our practice if you have flu-like symptoms or you have been in contact with someone known to have COVID-19. If you are feeling unwell, even with only very mild symptoms, it’s extremely important to get tested and stay home until you get the results.

  • Maintain physical distancing (1.5m) wherever possible within the practice

  • Use provided hand sanitiser upon entry and exit of our practice

The Queensland Government has given businesses the right to refuse service if anyone is unwell or presents with COVID-19 symptoms. They instruct us to insist that anyone showing symptoms must leave the premises immediately.

As per the Queensland Government Workers in a healthcare setting (COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements) Direction, all QSD staff are up to date with their COVID-19 vaccinations. We would encourage QSD patients and visitors to be vaccinated and/or to let our staff know of their vaccination status on arrival to our practice.

These measures are designed to assist with protection of the community, our valued patients, staff and families.
