CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

Updated - 30 November 2021

Queen Street Dental continues to closely follow recommendations from the Queensland Government and the Department of Health regarding COVID-19. The health and safety of our patients and QSD team continues to be our priority going forward and as such we have enforced extra precautions within the practice.

What we need from you to help us remain COVID-safe:

  • Do not attend our practice if you have flu-like symptoms or you have been in contact with someone known to have COVID-19. If you are feeling unwell, even with only very mild symptoms, it’s extremely important to get tested and stay home until you get the results.

  • Check in with the Check In QLD app using the provided QR code

  • Be prepared to show proof of your vaccination status upon request. As of 17 December 2021, it is a requirement that all workers and visitors to the practice are fully vaccinated. Unvaccinated people will only be permitted to visit if accessing medical treatment (patients).

  • Maintain physical distancing (1.5m) wherever possible within the practice

  • Use provided hand sanitiser upon entry and exit of our practice

The Queensland Government has given businesses the right to refuse service if anyone is unwell or presents with COVID-19 symptoms. They instruct us to insist that anyone showing symptoms must leave the premises immediately.

These measures are designed to assist with protection of the community, our valued patients, staff and families.
